Our Mission
Our top priority is to act in our clients
interests at all times and to help them succeed and grow in their
market. As your partner, we want to continue to assist you with your HR
projects in the future. Our candidates are also clients, that is why we
always treat them with respect and flexibility, and are pleased to
provide personal career development consulting. Our goal is to create
long-lasting relationships.
Professional Mission
The most important aspect of our work is to add
value to our clients according to their interests and expectations.
Whether it is a small enterprise or a large one, a local company or an
international corporation, an authority or a public utility company,
P&P handles each and every project with the same diligence and
care.
All our senior consultants have many years of
experience and successful track records in management, business and HR
consulting, both in local and international companies, and all are
fluent in several foreign languages. Our professionals use these skills
to adapt each project to the client's precise needs, analyze problems
from the outset and create the best individual solution. The search
process starts with an in-depth review of the current
business environment and a detailed description of the professional
background and personal qualities required for the position to be
filled.
In addition to absolute professionalism, we feel it is crucial to provide personal attention
as well. This means that each project is run by the same consultant
from the initial meeting to signing the contract with the successful
candidate; the experiences accumulated during many successfully
executed assignments generate synergies. This close cooperation between
client and consultant can be invaluable when it comes to the market
entry of international companies, developing new positions or
responsibilities, and cross-border executive searches.
Candidates are identified using various sources. Our continually updated database featuring over 10,000 resumes,
the personal network of our consultants, and applications received
through advertisements and our own web-site will cover the information
and knowledge base of consultants, researchers and industry
experts.
The approach to potential candidates substantially
influences the quality of a search. In addition to fair information
about the client’s professional and personal expectations, company
culture, and challenges and risks of the position offered, we are also
pleased to advise candidates regarding their own career and future
prospects. Most candidates appreciate our interview style, which is professional and personal at the same time.
This results in lasting contacts in the form of an increasing number of
valuable ”informal associates” both among those looking for and
offering jobs.
The interviews are focused primarily around
professional achievements rather than education and training. The
answers provide a deeper insight into the personal values of the
candidates, and their abilities to match the job requirements and
integrate into the corporate environment.
It is an increasingly important challenge in the
fast-changing business world to identify, develop and retain valuable
managers and employees. Our consultants use their business experience,
supported by internationally recognized tests, to assess the quality
and potential of managers and staff.
Each project is adapted to the client's individual
needs and structured into integrated phases. In the first phase the
goals are precisely and carefully established in painstaking joint
preparation work with the client. In the second phase, likely
candidates are assessed according to 3 criteria:
1. a review of their professional career,
2. an internationally recognized test (Profiles, 360° etc.) and
3. a structured interview based on guidelines previously agreed on with the client.
Today's fast-changing markets can sometimes
unexpectedly place a company in the unpleasant situation of having to
let valuable employees go through no fault of their own; P&P's
outplacement services can ease the consequences for those affected and
enhance the employer's overall reputation.
Companies with headquarters in Hungary have
benefited from P&P's cross-border experience when expanding in the
CEE region, from Albania to the Ukraine. In these assignments we
cooperate closely with our associated P&P offices in the target
countries; project management and coordination, however, are always
handled by our designated senior consultant up to the final closing.
Offices of the P&P Group in Belgrade, Bratislava, Bucharest, Kiev,
Moscow, Ljubljana, Prague, Sofia, Tirana and Zagreb are managed by
highly qualified English-speaking local professionals, who have the
necessary skills, experience, best practice methods and a proven track
record to execute even complex projects, as well as a broad network of
contacts and access to databases of professionals active in various
industries.
In cross-border projects initiated outside Hungary, P&P provides the same services in Hungary or the CEE region.
Following the assessment of the candidates we
consult our clients to make any necessary final adjustments to the
project. We are also pleased to advise on compensation packages,
employment contracts, etc.
Our attention to clients and candidates does not
generally end when the contract is signed. To foster long-term
relationships with both groups of our business partners, we usually
make inquiries to ensure that both parties are satisfied with the
"fit." It is no coincidence that P&P's clients return again and
again with new HR-related assignments.
